Saving Announcement for the Voice Mailbox on the PC
The announcements for the voice mailboxes saved in the PBX can be saved on the PC as
backup copies.
Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
• At least one existing announcement for the voice mailbox
1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties.
2. In the list field at the top, select the voice mailbox in question according to the name
or number.
3. Click the Announcements tab.
4. In the list field, select one of the following options:
Announcement 1, Duration x Sec. to 10, Duration x Sec.: Overwrites the
corresponding announcement (announcement 1 to 10) on the PC.
5. Click Read under Read from PBX.
6. Save the file on the PC.
Recording Announcement for Voice Mailbox
Announcements for voice mailboxes can directly be recorded via the receiver of an internal
telephone.
Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties.
2. In the list field at the top, select the voice mailbox in question according to the name
or number.
3. Click the Announcements tab.
