Configuring the Configuration Port for System Telephones

You must select the DDI number to be sent for a PTP connection from the
extensions block. If the DDI number is then displayed in red text, either it is
not in the value range, or the maximum number of external phone numbers
has already been entered.
REMOTE CONFIGURATION VIA AUERSWALD SERVER IN THE INTERNET
Enable dealer access via Internet
Requirements:
• Configured network connection with DNS server and Gateway
The PBX can be configured remotely via the Internet with the ARA server.
Configuring the Configuration Port for System Telephones
The configuration port (factory setting: 7002) for system telephones indicates which port on the
PBX is used by the configuration software on the ISDN system telephone during the trans-
mission.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page Administration > IP configuration.
2. Enter a port in the Configuration port for system telephones entry field under
SERVER CONFIGURATION. Possible entries:
