Setting Authorisations for Contact Groups

Setting Authorisations for Contact Groups
If you are an administrator or sub-administrator, you decide which contact groups each
individual user is to have read or write authorisation in. This setting defines which pages the
user can see and which tasks they can perform:
• Only read access to at least one contact group: access to the Contacts & assignment
page, and able to perform the following tasks:
– Searching for and displaying a contact
– Dialling from within the contacts (soft call)
– Reading the QR code
– Exporting a contact data record (vCard)
• Read and write access to at least one contact group: access to the Contacts &
assignment and Standard contact groups pages, and able to perform the following
additional tasks:
– Creating a contact
– Importing an image for a contact
– Editing a contact
– Importing a contact data record (vCard)
– Transferring a contact from the call data list
– Entering a short-code number
– Deleting a contact
– Importing address books
– Exporting address books
– Switching use as a standard contact group on/off
– Assigning a contact to a contact group
– Deleting a contact from a contact group
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• At least one contact group has been configured
1. Open the page User data > Address books > Contact group authorisations.
2. Click the required user's line.
