Private (Personalised) Exchange Line Access
Private (personalised) exchange line access enables separate billing for business and
personal calls for individual employees. Using private exchange line access, calls initiated are
given a special identification while the call data is being recorded. This allows the charges to
be billed to the employee.
Switching Differently Configurable Functions for Private and Business Calls On/
Off
If differently configurable functions for private and business calls are enabled, two different
configurations can be created for each of the functions listed below – one for private calls and
one for business calls.
If differently configurable functions for private and business calls are disabled, only one config-
uration can be created for the functions listed below. This applies to private calls as well as to
business calls.
Note:
If differently configurable functions for private and business calls are
disabled, the PBX takes over the configuration for business calls as joint
configuration.
If differently configurable functions for private and business calls are enabled
again, the PBX takes over the settings changed since the last disabling only
for business calls. For this reason, you will need to check the configurations
for private calls.

• Using the configuration manager
