Creating a Call Distribution

Call Distribution
In call distribution, you specify which internal subscribers should be given the signal for an
incoming external call. This means that in call distribution, you specify, e.g., permanently, which
internal telephones should ring when you are called. Call distribution for each phone number
is configured individually on a connection with multiple external numbers (e.g., ISDN
connection).
You can configure both one telephone for multiple phone numbers and multiple telephones
(group) for one phone number to ring.
Creating a Call Distribution
Separate call distribution is set for each external connection. A single connection as is defined
here as:
• A PTMP connection (fixed network or GSM)
• A single PTP connection (fixed network or GSM)
• A bundled PTP connection made up of several S
numbers and the same extensions block
• An analogue connection
• A VoIP account
Note:
External numbers that are required as Call Through numbers (Functions
> Call Through) are not allowed to be used in call distribution.
In order for a subscriber to signal incoming external calls, it needs at least
Exchange line authorisation (business) Only incoming, with emergency
call (Subscriber (scr.) > Properties > Exchange line settings).
An internal destination can be assigned to an external number. Internal desti-
nations can be subscribers, groups, voice mail/fax boxes or the automatic
reception functions.
If several subscribers ring simultaneously, they are grouped.
