cable and the wall sockets must be permanently installed.
– For connecting multiple end devices on one internal S
Note: The Auerswald ISDN Multiplug and ISDN Autoswitch are available for
this type of wiring as optional accessories in specialized stores. In addition,
the ISDN Autoswitch provides the option of switching a single emergency
telephone from the internal to an existing external S
failure. The telephone used for this must support emergency operation.
Depending on the number of the end devices, proceed as follows.
• Single end device: Insert the RJ-45 plug of the end device into the RJ-45 socket of
the COMpact S
• Multiple end devices: Insert the RJ-45 plug of the ISDN multiplug into the RJ-45
socket of the COMpact S
