Creating Default Service Providers Automatically - Auerswald COMpact 4000 Operation Manual

Requirements:
• A configured DNS server and, if necessary, an HTTP proxy server (Administration > IP
configuration)
• A configured gateway
• The name of at least one online service provider must have been entered for the online
name search
1. Open the page Functions > Online name search > Basic settings.
2. Select or clear the Online name search check box.
3. If you have enabled online name search, click the options field In the Active column
in the line of the service provider to be used for the online name search.

Creating Default Service Providers Automatically

The service provider list accommodates up to five service providers.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page Functions > Online name search > Basic settings.
2. Click Standard.
3. Click Continue.
The data of the service providers is added to the existing list of providers, without
verification whether a provider is already contained in the list (double entries).
Note: When creating default values for providers, the import is only carried
out until the maximum number of providers is reached and then it is
cancelled.
