Provisioning for IP Telephones
Provisioning
Requirements:
• Automatic provisioning via provisioning server enabled at the telephone(s)
• Configured and assigned provisioning file (*.xml)
• For COMfortel 3200/3500: Enabled Access without client certificate (unsafe operation)

Proceed as follows for configuration:
• Using the configuration manager or, resp., the telephone
• Assigning a MAC address (page Subscriber (scr.) > Properties > VoIP settings
• Creating a file as header file (see
• If required, selecting a provisioning file as template (page Subscriber (scr.) > IP provi-
sioning > File management)
• Creating provisioning files (see
• Making provisioning settings on the telephone:
– Setting the provisioning type (see Operation Guide of the telephone)
– If necessary, entering the address of the provisioning server, starting with https://, (see
Operation Guide of the telephone)
Note: For COMfortel 3200/3500, you must enter
provdata?mac=<MACADR>

provisioning > Settings)
