4. Select or clear the Echo cancellation check box.
Note: If echo cancellation is switched off you may hear a local echo on your
own telephone (you hear yourself speaking). You can compensate for this
effect by reducing the volume on your telephone in increments and checking
its behaviour.

Configuring the Telephone Number Format for VoIP Subscribers

The PBX supports several formats to display the country code of incoming calls on the display
of the VoIP telephone being called. If the called telephone only has a small display, for example,
it is possible to display only the area code (with zero) instead of the country code with leading
zeroes or leading + sign.
Note: For some telephones of other manufacturers it may be necessary to
select the option Without country code (e.g. 05306...) so that the country
code is dialled with a zero when calling back. This configuration is not
necessary for Auerswald system telephones.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the following page:
• For admin: Subscriber (scr.) > Properties
• For user: Subscriber Properties.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
3. Click the VoIP settings tab.
4. In the Format of transferred phone number list field, select one of the available
options.
