Performing Room Monitoring

Proceed as follows:
• Using a character string on an internal telephone
• Using a character string on an external telephone (see section Short Reference)
Requirements:
• Room Monitoring on a telephone in the room to be monitored switched on
• Receiver of this telephone picked up
1. Pick up the receiver of an internal telephone.
2. Dial the internal number of the corresponding telephone in the room to be monitored
(for exchange line request type Direct exchange line telephone: with preceding **).
You can now listen into the room.
Further steps:
• Replace the receiver of the corresponding telephone in the room to be monitored to disable
Room Monitoring.
