Entering the Switching Duration of the Relay

If off control is switched off, the hold time of the relay will be used. The PBX does not actively
switch off the relay.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for relays
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Created relay
1. Open the page Devices > Relays (Actuators).
2. Click Configure in the line for the corresponding relay.
3. Select or clear the Off control check box.
Further steps:
• If off control is switched on, enter a suitable switching duration for the relay. For analogue
relays, also enter the DTMF sequences for off control of the relay.
• If off control is switched off, enter the hold time of the relay.
Entering the Switching Duration of the Relay
The switching duration of a relay determines after how many seconds the PBX will switch off
the relay. The switching duration is used for relays with the operating modes Light, Door
opener, Alarm, PC relay and Manual relay.
To enable the PBX to switch off the relay after the specified switching duration, off control must
be supported by the relay and be switched on (for some relays, e. g. the a/b Switching Modules,
switching off cannot be controlled). Alternatively, the hold time of the relay can be used.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for relays
• Using the configuration manager
