Call Distribution
In call distribution, you specify which internal subscribers should be given the signal for an
incoming external call. You can configure both one telephone for multiple phone numbers and
multiple telephones for one phone number to ring.
To this end, you can select one of the exchange line settings configured in step 6, Public
switched tel. networks, in the list fields next to Call distribution for.
Note: A linear call distribution is automatically preconfigured for PTP connec-
tions. If you prefer a different call distribution, you can configure it in the
configuration manager of the PBX under Public switched tel. networks >
Call distribution.
Next, the corresponding matrix appears and allows you to assign exchange line numbers and
subscribers to each other with the help of the check boxes.
Notes:
External numbers that are required as Call Through numbers (Functions
> Call Through) are not allowed to be used in call distribution.
In order for a subscriber to signal incoming external calls, it needs at least
Exchange line authorisation (business) Only incoming, with emergency
call (Subscriber (scr.) > Properties > Exchange line settings).
You can make further settings under Public switched tel. networks > Call distribution.
Data Backup
The current configuration data on the PBX can be backed up in a configuration file on the PC
or on a data storage device. If necessary, this configuration file can be saved in the PBX again
in order to restore the old configuration data.
You can skip this step, but we recommend to create such a data backup.

Before finishing the configuration, you can display the configured subscribers and the call distri-
bution in an overview. You can also print this configuration for future reference.
