Transmit #
The PBX transmits the # (hash key) character, appended to the number you are dialling,
used to signal that you have finished, to the central office.
Busy signal detection
The PBX recognises the busy signal sent by the central office (recommended setting).
This is needed to allow the CCBS (callback when busy) function to be enabled using the PBX's
internal telephones.
Waiting time (0 to 30 seconds)
The time to wait until the audio connection is created specifies the maximum time, in seconds,
that the PBX will wait for the connection information sent by the central office. If the PBX does
not receive a busy signal, a continuous tone or a polarity reversal of the line after this time has
passed, it creates the connection.
The PBX also creates the connection if it detects a call tone, and then a voice, even before the
waiting time has passed.

The PBX recognises the busy signal sent by the central office.
It needs this to identify that the call connection has finished and to automatically disconnect an
ISDN telephone.
Note: Disable this setting if the PBX identifies disruptions on the external line
as the busy signal, because this would cause it to interrupt conversations. In
this situation, the subscriber must signal to the PBX that the call is ended by
disconnecting.
Minimum length of busy signal (3 to 20 seconds)
The minimum length of the busy signal specifies the time (in seconds) the PBX takes to identify
a busy signal sequence. This prevents, for example, the PBX identifying speech as a busy
signal.
