Distributing Firmware
A new version of the firmware can be distributed from one system telephone to other system
telephones connected to the PBX. To configure an IP system telephone as firmware distributing
telephone,see Operation Guide of the telephone. Under Administration > Firmware update/
restart, you can see under Firmware update for Voip system telephones the current status.
Notes:
The PBX must have a firmware version as of 6.6.
The telephone that receives the firmware must have a firmware version as of
2.4.
Distributing the firmware is possible from one COMfortel 3600 IP to other
COMfortel 3600 IP and from COMfortel 1400 IP/2600 IP to other COMfortel
1400 IP/2600 IP.
