Switching PBX Call Assist On/Off

PBX Call Assist is a CTI software available from Auerswald. Its use must be switched on in the
PBX. If PBX Call Assist is switched on, all available TAPI lines are administrated by the corre-
sponding server software UCServer. Other TAPI applications cannot be used in parallel.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• PBX Call Assist function enabled (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product
Details > Basic Assembly and Extensions)
1. Open the page Functions > LAN TAPI.
2. Select or clear the Use PBX Call Assist check box under SETTINGS.
Further steps:
• Install the server and client software. You will find the installation files on the Internet (see
www.auerswald.de/service).

Configuring Subscribers for LAN-TAPI

All subscribers that should be controlled over a PC must be configured for LAN-TAPI.
Note: If PBX Call Assist is switched on, all available TAPI lines will instead
be administrated by the corresponding UCServer server software.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page Functions > LAN TAPI.
2. Click
New.
3. In the Phone number list fields, select the subscribers in question.
