Note: The total number of contacts in all the contact groups is limited to 2000
contacts
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page User data > Address books > Contact groups.
2. Click New.
This opens a new entry field in the Contact groups column. This field is prefilled with
Name.
3. Enter a name for the new contact group. You cannot enter names twice (each name
must be unique).
4. Select one of the following options:
Standard contact group: contact groups for the COMfortel 1400 IP/2600 IP/
3200/3500/3600 IP and COMfortel 1200/1400/1600/2600 system telephones
with a maximum of 2000 contacts.
DECT 900 contact group: contact groups for COMfortel DECT 900 handsets
with a maximum of 140 entries.
DECT 900C contact group: contact groups for COMfortel DECT 900C
handsets with a maximum of 250 entries.
Google contact group: contact groups for synchronisation with contact
groups stored in Gmail.
Note:
Only one type can be selected per contact group. It is not possible to change
the contact group type afterwards.
If you have not selected a type, the Standard contact group type is automat-
ically assigned to the new contact group.
5. Click Save.
6. Repeat step 2 to 5 to create additional contact groups.
