Waiting Field Function

Callers can be parked in the waiting field either automatically or by pressing a key and then be
retrieved again or transferred.

Configuring the Waiting Field

The waiting field is operated using one or more waiting field receptions.
Note: If call forwarding immediately (subscriber/group), the boss/secretary
function (system telephone) or a waiting field reception (for one waiting field
group, one enabled waiting field reception is sufficient) is enabled, the call will
not be made to the voice mailbox!
Requirements:
• System telephone, that supports function keys for reception telephones (optional, see the
telephone manual)
1. Configure a Waiting Field group.
2. Assign members to the group that should be used as waiting field receptions.
Note: To avoid user errors, all subscribers should be Permanently logged
in.
3. Activate the Ann. before answering function for the group.
4. Assign the numbers in the external call distribution to the Waiting Field group used
to call the waiting field. These calls are indicated in all active waiting field receptions.
5. Under Subscriber/group number for the Waiting Field, select the phone number
for the waiting field.
6. Configure the Automatic call take-over for the waiting field.
7. Load an announcement before answering as audio file (*.wav) in the PBX.
