Introduction to the Configuration Manager
Configuration Manager

Configuring the Port on the Web Server

Configuring the Port on the Web Server
Port 80 is used for accessing the web server by default. The address can thus be entered as
follows: http://192.168.55.13, for example. Only when accessing via Ethernet the value (e. g.
8081 instead of 80) has to be entered when modifying the port (e. g. http://
192.168.55.13:8081). A change of the port should be made for security reasons especially if
the PBX has to be accessible from the Internet (via a router and a fixed IP address).
You can view the ports already configured on the Overview > Ports page.
Caution: A port change will be made out of security reasons especially if
the PBX has to be reachable from the Internet (via router and fixed IP
address).
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page Administration > IP configuration.
2. Enter the port number (port) of the web server in the Port of the web server entry
field under Server configuration. Possible entries:
1
to
65535

Configuring the Time Lapse for Forced Logout

The time lapse for a forced logout defines after how many minutes a user is automatically
logged out of the configuration manager if no action has been taken in the configuration
manager within a configured time period. If an action happens after the automatic logout, the
user will see the page for a new login.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page Administration > IP configuration.
2. Enter a value in the Forced logout if no action happens after entry field under
Server configuration. Possible entries:
116
