Creating Switching Times for Switching the Configuration

Creating Switching Times for Switching the Configuration
A configuration applies until another configuration (manual or automatic) is enabled, also
beyond the daily change. An exception to this would be activated holidays. When the holiday
ends at 12 a.m., a switch is made back to the regular configuration for that weekday (even if
the configuration was enabled manually on the holiday). At the beginning of the holiday, the
configuration from the day before remains valid until the switchover occurs (automatically or
manually). This means that if, e.g., a holiday is followed by another holiday, the last valid config-
uration for the previous holiday remains enabled until a configuration switchover occurs on the
second holiday.
Note:
An activated holiday is taken into account from 12 p.m. of the one day until
12 p.m. on the following day.
On an activated holiday, the switching times for the corresponding weekday
are taken into account if no holiday switching times have been entered
(holiday).
The creation can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
– Expert view (click
– At least two configured configurations
– For using the holidays: Configured and activated holidays
1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Configurations > Create switching times.
2. Select the desired day in the Day list field.
3. Enter the time in the line of the corresponding day in the Time entry field under
and mm. The following entries are possible:
Time in hh format: mm
00 to 23: Hours (hh)
00 to 59: Minutes (mm)
Note: When you save your settings, the minutes entered are rounded down
automatically to steps of five, so that at the end there is either a 0 or a 5.
