Switching Authorization for Call Parking On/Off

0 to 9

Switching Authorization for Call Parking On/Off
If the authorization for call parking is enabled, the subscriber in question can park a caller in
the parking zone or retrieve a waiting caller from the parking zone.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Via the configuration manager

1. Open the page PROPERTIES > Internal subscribers > Subscriber properties >
Authorizations.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
3. Select or clear the Call Parking check box.
Enables authorization for call parking.
Disables authorization for call parking.

Configuring the Internal Base Telephone Number for the Parking Zone
The internal base telephone number is a telephone number taken from the internal telephone
number plan. When put together with the ten possible park positions 0-9, this creates ten 3 to
4-digit telephone numbers. These numbers can then be used to select the parking zone for call
parking.
