Creating Default Networks Based on a Provider Area Code

1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Least Cost Routing > LCR providers.
2. Enter a name in the Name entry field. The following entries are possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters
3. In the Provider area code entry field, enter the provider area code without an
exchange line access number. The following entries are possible:
Up to 20 digits
Digits
4. Click

5. Repeat step 2 to 4 to create additional entries.
Further steps:
– Save your settings before you leave the page.
– Create the networks for the tariff groups.
– Create for the networks the corresponding prefixes to complete the tariff groups.
– Enter the tariff information in the LCR tables.
Creating Default Networks Based on a Provider Area Code
The tariff groups City, Region, National and International can automatically be created
based on the local area code. They include the data for the LCR networks and the
corresponding LCR prefixes.
Caution: When networks are automatically created, the existing LCR data
are deleted.
The creation can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Least Cost Routing > LCR networks.
2. Enter the local area code in the entry field in the last row.
