Transferring with Announcement
Requirements:
– Initiated query call
– To connect two external communication partners, the following is required: Authorization
Transfer of external calls to external assigned to the subscriber
• Hang up the receiver during a query call.
Both communication partners are connected with each other.
Note: Some ISDN telephones may ring after hanging up the receiver and you
may then be reconnected with your first communication partner after picking
up the receiver. Use the manual for the telephone to check whether the
"Transfer at a PBX" function has been enabled. If this has not been done, do
this subsequently.
• If you want to initiate a new call immediately after the transfer, proceed during the
query call as follows.
a) Press the Flash key (when using a telephone with DTMF dialling) or the Query
key (when using an ISDN telephone).
b) Dial 4.
Both communication partners are connected with each other.
You will hear the internal dial tone.
c) Initiate a new call.
Important: A call transferred between two external communication partners
is limited to a defined period of time. This is a security feature, since the
transfer of the time announcement or of the weather forecast made by
mistake, for instance, would lead to a very long call. You will be charged the
fees for the transferred call by your network provider.
Note:
You can also use this function on analog telephones, where it can be
performed via the T-Net function key/menu (see manual for the telephone).
On some ISDN phones, this function – if available – can be called via an
existing function key or via the menu (see manual for the telephone).
