Sequence of Call Parking

Call Parking
Call parking lets a caller in a waiting position be transferred so that the desired communication
partner can accept the call on another internal telephone.
Sequence of Call Parking
Call parking is carried out as follows:
• The call is first transferred to a telephone number that has been previously specified for this
function and then parked.
• The caller is kept on hold in the PBX and listens to hold music.
• The desired communication partner is then notified of the waiting caller. He can then take
the call by dialling the telephone number that had previously been transferred.

Parking the Call Internally

Requirements:
– Authorization Call Parking assigned to the subscriber
During an external call, proceed as described in the following.
1. Press the Flash key (when using a telephone with DTMF dialling) or the Query key
(when using an ISDN telephone).
2. Enter the internal base telephone number. The following entries are possible:
** and internal base telephone number for the parking zone (If you do not
use a direct exchange line access, omit the **.)
3. Dial the number of the park position. The following entries are possible:
0 to 9
Note: If you hear a busy tone when you dial the park position, this position is
already in use. Pressing flash key (on DTMF telephones) or the Query key
(for ISDN telephones) takes you back where you can redial the internal base
telephone number with another park position.
