Variants for firmware updates:
• Manual firmware update of the PBX.
– Using the Configuration Manager (page Administration > Mise à
jour/Redémarrage du firmware)
• Firmware update of the PBX via update server.
– Using the Configuration Manager (page Administration > Mise à
jour/Redémarrage du firmware)
• Firmware update for system phones.
– Using the Configuration Manager (page Administration > Mise à
jour/Redémarrage du firmware)
• Restoring the firmware of the PBX.
– Using the Configuration Manager (page Administration > Mise à
jour/Redémarrage du firmware)
– By pressing a button on the PBX

Distributing Firmware

A new version of the firmware can be distributed from one system phone to
other system phones connected to the PBX. To configure an IP system
phone as firmware distributing phone, see Advanced Information of the
phone. Under Administration > Mise à jour/Redémarrage du firmware,
you can see under Mise à jour du firmware pour téléphones dédiés VoIP
the current status.
Notes:
The PBX must have a firmware version as of 6.6.
