Configuring the Outgoing Mail Server

4. Select or clear the Send on incoming message check box under E-mail.
Enables the transmission of e-mail messages for incoming messages.
Disables the transmission of e-mail messages for incoming messages. (No
other action is required.)
5. Select or clear the Mark sent messages as read check box under E-mail.
Enables the Mark as read the messages sent function.
Disables the Mark as read the messages sent function.
6. Select or clear the Attach incoming message as file check box under E-mail.
Enables the attachment of incoming messages as files.
Disables the attachment of incoming messages as files.
7. Enter up to three e-mail addresses for message recipients in the Addresses of the
message recipients entry fields under E-mail. The following entries are possible:

8. If you would like to test sending e-mail messages, click Test under Test E-mail trans-
mission.
A test e-mail is sent.

Configuring the Outgoing Mail Server
The outgoing mail server is responsible for sending e-mail messages.
You will get the access data for configuring the outgoing mail server from your Internet Service
Provider or it is located in your existing e-mail account.
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Internet access on the PBX
