Saving Configuration Data from the PC/Data Storage Medium in the PBX

Automatic Loading
Current configuration data on a PBX can be saved in a configuration file ("auconfig.cfg") on a
data storage medium (e.g., a USB memory stick). It is possible to save this configuration data
in another PBX set to factory settings. To do this, the data storage medium is inserted in the
disabled PBX and the PBX is then switched on. The configuration data on the data storage
medium is automatically saved in the PBX.
Restoration Points
If a restoration point for the configuration data is set, the current configuration data is saved in
a configuration file in the PBX. The configuration files are archived with information about the
time and date they were created.
A maximum of ten restoration points are set. If an eleventh restoration point is set, the oldest
of the current restoration points is overwritten.
An old configuration can be restored by loading a restoration point. The option as to whether
the network settings should be restored can also be selected.
Note: A restoration point is automatically inserted at every firmware update.

may possibly not contain all of the configuration data (for example, data for
