Assigning Port VLAN IDs (PVIDs) and Ingress Filtering

Purpose

To assign default VLAN IDs to untagged frames on one or more ports, to configure MIB‐II
interface mapping to a VLAN, to configure VLAN ingress filtering, and to set the frame discard
mode.

Use this command to display port VLAN identifier (PVID) information.
Syntax
show port vlan [port-string]
Parameters
port‐string
Defaults
If port ‐string is not specified, port VLAN information for all ports will be displayed.
Mode
Switch command, Read‐Only.
(Optional) Displays PVID information for specific port(s). For a detailed
description of possible port‐string values, refer to "Port String Syntax
Used in the CLI" on page 4‐2.
