Use this command to globally enable or disable the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) mode.
Syntax
set spantree stpmode {none | ieee8021}
Parameters
none
ieee8021
Defaults
None.
Mode
Switch command, Read‐Write.
Example
This example shows how to disable Spanning Tree:
Matrix(rw)->set spantree stpmode none

clear spantree stpmode

Use this command to reset the Spanning Tree protocol mode to the default setting of IEEE802.1.
This re‐enables Spanning Tree.
Syntax
clear spantree stpmode
Parameters
None.
Defaults
None.
Mode
Switch command, Read‐Write.
Disables Spanning Tree.
Enables 802.1 Spanning Tree mode.
