Reviewing IP Traffic and Configuring Routes

Purpose

To review IP protocol information about the device, to review IP traffic and configure routes, to
enable and send router ICMP (ping) messages, and to execute traceroute.

Use this command to display information about IP protocols running on the device.

Mode
Router command, Any router mode.
Usage
Enabling CIDR for RIP on the Enterasys Matrix Series device requires using the no auto‐summary
command (as described in "no auto‐summary" on page 21‐13) to disable automatic route
summarization.
