ip address

Use this command to set, remove, or disable a primary or secondary IP address for an interface. 
Syntax
ip address ip-address ip-mask [secondary]
no ip address ip-address ip-mask
Parameters

Defaults
If secondary is not specified, the configured address will be the primary address for the interface.

16-6 IP Configuration
What it displays...
MAC address mapped to this interface. Set using the ip mac-address
command as described in
Whether or not an access control list (ACL) has been configured on
this interface using the commands described in
Lists" on page 24-15.
Whether or not an IP address has been designated for forwarding UDP
datagrams from this interface. Set using the ip helper-address
command as described in
Interface's Maximum Transmission Unit size.
Duration for entries to stay in the ARP table before expiring. Set using
the arp timeout command as described in
page 16-17.
Whether or not proxy ARP is enabled or disabled for this interface. Set
using the ip proxy arp command as described in
page 16-16.
ICMP (ping) settings. By default, ICMP messaging is enabled on a
routing interface for both echo-reply and mask-reply modes. If, for
security reasons, ICMP has been disabled, it can be re-enabled using
the ip icmp command as described in
Whether or not policy-based routing has been configured on this
interface as described in
Prevention" on page 24-22.
Specifies the IP address of the interface to be added or removed. 
Specifies the mask for the associated IP subnet.
(Optional) Specifies that the configured IP address is a secondary
