8.9 Checking and Replacing Side-Positioning Conveyor Grip

CAUTION
Before removing the covers, be sure to turn OFF the high-voltage switch. If the machine is
powered ON with any of the covers removed, the photomultiplier will be damaged.
(1) Remove the following covers.
Lower right-hand cover, lower rear cover
"3. Removing and Reinstalling Covers"
(2) Power ON the machine.
(3) Make the side-positioning IP sensor (SD2) to be in the sensor monitoring enabled
state.
"2.2 Checking Various Sensors"
(4) Make sure that "1" is indicated for SD2 (CLOSE status).
(5) Make sure that the rubber roller is gripped.
(6) Repeatedly select "0. QUIT".
M-Utility is exited.
