Use the
undo bsr-policy
range.
By default, there are no restrictions on the BSR address range, namely all the
received BSR messages are regarded to be valid.
# Configure a legal BSR address range in the public instance so that only routers
on the segment 10.1.1.0/24 can become the BSR.

[Sysname] acl number 2000
[Sysname-acl-basic-2000] rule permit source 10.1.1.0 0.0.0.255
[Sysname-acl-basic-2000] quit
[Sysname] pim
[Sysname-pim] bsr-policy 2000
c-bsr interface-type interface-number [ hash-length [ priority ] ]
undo c-bsr
Public instance PIM view, VPN instance PIM view
interface-type interface-number: Specifies an interface by its type and number.
This configuration can take effect only if PIM-SM is enabled on the interface.
hash-length: Hash mask length for RP selection calculation, in the range of 0 to
32. If you do not include this keyword in your command, the corresponding global
setting will be used.
priority: Priority of the C-BSR, in the range of 0 to 255. If you do not include this
keyword in your command, the corresponding global setting will be used. A larger
value of this argument means a higher priority.
Use the
c-bsr
command to configure the specified interface as a C-BSR.
Use the
undo c-bsr
No C-BSR is configured by default.
pim sm, c-bsr hash-length (PIM view), c-bsr priority (PIM view), and c-rp
(PIM view).
# Configure Ethernet 1/0 to be a C-BSR in the public instance.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] pim
[Sysname-pim] c-bsr ethernet 1/0
