By default, an interface is associated with no VPN instance; it belongs to the public
network.
When configured on an interface, the ip binding vpn-instance command clears
the IP address of the interface. Therefore, you must re-configure the IP address of
the interface after configuring the command.
# Associate interface Ethernet1/0 with VPN instance vpn1.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface ethernet 1/0
[Sysname-Etherne1/0] ip binding vpn-instance vpn1
ip vpn-instance vpn-instance-name
undo ip vpn-instance vpn-instance-name
System view
vpn-instance-name: Name for the VPN instance, a case-sensitive string of 1 to 31
characters.
Use the
ip vpn-instance
instance view.
Use the
undo ip vpn-instance
A VPN instance takes effect only after you configure an RD for it.
