Use the
bestroute med-confederation
the MED for paths from confederation peers for best route selection.
Use the
undo bestroute med-confederation
comparison.
By default, this comparison is not enabled.
With this feature enabled, the system can only compare the MED for paths from
peers within the confederation. Paths from external ASs are advertised throughout
the confederation without MED comparison.
# Compare the MED for paths from peers within the confederation.

Use the
compare-different-as-med
MED for paths from peers in different ASs.
Use the
undo compare-different-as-med
comparison.
The comparison is disabled by default.
If there are several paths available for one destination, the path with the smallest
MED value is selected.
Do not use this command unless associated ASs adopt the same IGP protocol and
routing selection method.
