Removing the shaft in the front (link ear)

Action
Fasten the lifting slings.
Raise the lifting slings to take the weight of the
balancing device.
CAUTION
The balancing device is heavy at the back, and
will tip over when the link ear is loosened.

Action
Remove the VK cover at the link ear.
Note
Make sure that the lifting accessories hold the
weight of the balancing device.
Tip
Use high pressure air to remove the VK covers.
