Preparations before removing the axis-1 gearbox
Use this procedure to do the necessary preparations, before removing the gearbox.

Lower and secure the robot to the floor.
Action
DANGER
Turn off all:
electric power supply
hydraulic pressure supply
air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the safeguarded
space.
Remove tools and other equipment fitted on
the turning disc.
DressPack can stay fitted for the time being.
Hold the mechanical stop pin in a firm grip,
and remove it by unscrewing the attachment
screw.
CAUTION
The mechanical stop weighs 5 kg.
Begin draining the axis-1 gearbox.

Attachment screws: M24x100 (8
pcs).
Note
This is done to achieve the best stability
of the complete arm system, when it is
resting by itself, after it has been re-
moved.
