Make sure that all supplies for electrical power, hy-
draulic pressure, and air pressure are turned off.
ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD)
The unit is sensitive to ESD. Before handling the unit
please read the safety information in the section
unit is sensitive to ESD on page 53
Take a picture or make notes of how the robot cabling
is positioned in regard to the brake release board.
Remove the connectors X8, X9 and X10 from the
brake release board.
Action
Unscrew the attachment screws that secure the brake
release unit bracket.
Remove the bracket with the brake release unit fitted.
Remove the brake release unit from the bracket.
