Action
Fasten the chain block in the lifting eye.
Fasten the lifting sling in the chain block assembly
and hold the weight of the balancing device.
CAUTION
The balancing device is heavy at the back, and
will tip over when the link ear is loosened.
Action
Remove the VK cover at the link ear.
Note
Make sure that the lifting accessories hold the
weight of the balancing device.
Tip
Use high pressure air to remove the VK covers.
Remove the attachment screw and washer at the
link ear.
CAUTION
The balancing device is heavy at the back, and
will tip over when the link ear is loosened.

(or similar) through the VK cover,
as close as possible to the center
of the VK cover and pull it out.
