Attaching the lifting accessories to the upper arm
Use this procedure to attach the lifting accessories to the upper arm.

CAUTION
The weight of the complete upper arm (in-
cluding the wrist) is 465 kg
All lifting accessories used must be sized
accordingly.
Fit a lifting eye to the wrist.
Fit a lifting eye in the arm house, with a
fender washer underneath.

Attach a lifting sling to an overhead crane
(or similar) and then to the lifting eye in the
arm house.
Attach a lifting sling to an overhead crane
(or similar) and then to the lifting eye in the
wrist.
Note
Lifting slings are used instead of lifting
chains to not damage the balancing device
surface.
Raise the lifting accessories to take the
weight of the upper arm.
