Usage guidelines
This command enables an interface to obtain an IPv6 address from the modem by using the
modem-manufacturer's proprietary protocol, use the ipv6 address cellular-alloc command.
To enable an interface to obtain an I P address from the modem by using DHCP, use the ipv6
address dhcp-alloc command.
The IPv6 address of a modem is automatically allocated by the service provider.
Examples
# Channelize Cellular 2/4/0 into an Eth-channel interface. Enable the Eth-channel interface to obtain
an IPv6 address by using the modem-manufacturer's proprietary protocol.
