Always cut the paint with a knife and grind
the paint edge when disassembling parts
of the robot! See Cut the paint or surface
on the robot before replacing parts on
page 158.
Remove the swing cover.
Remove the lower arm screws and wash-
ers.
WARNING
This releases the lower arm from the swing.
Make sure the weight of the arm is properly
secured.
The lower arm weighs 13 kg. If the upper
arm is also attached to the lower arm, it
adds an additional 17 kg to the total weight.
