4.8.2 Replacing the axis-1 gearbox (IRB 6700 - 300/2.70, IRB 6700 - 245/3.00)

Unscrew the remaining attachment screws
as far as it is possible at this point.
CAUTION
The complete arm system weighs: 1300 Kg.
All lifting accessories used must be sized
accordingly.
Lift away the complete arm system.
CAUTION
When the arm system has left the guide pins
it can move. Use caution in order to avoid
injury or damage!
Note
There will be some oil spill!
Put down the arm system on the floor.
DANGER
When the complete arm system is removed
and resting by itself on the floor, make sure
it is resting completely stable before remov-
ing the lifting accessories. Do not change the
position of the axes from the position de-
scribed earlier.
