Command
Use this command to specify the IPv6 prefix information that is advertised by the router
advertisement for IPv6 address auto-configuration.
Use no parameter with this command to reset the IPv6 prefix.
Syntax
ipv6 nd prefix <ipv6-prefix/length> <valid-lifetime>
no ipv6 nd prefix <ipv6-addr/prefix-length> <valid-lifetime>

Valid-lifetime default is 2592000 seconds (30 days). Preferred-lifetime default is 604800

Description
The prefix to be advertised by the router.
The IPv6 address prefix uses the format X:X::/prefix-length;
where prefix-length is a decimal number between 0 and 128.The
default is X:X::/64.
The the period during which the specified IPv6 address prefix is
valid. This can be set to a value between 0 and 4294967295
seconds. The default is 2592000 (30 days).
Note that this period should be set to a value greater than that
set for the prefix preferred-lifetime.
Specifies theIPv6 prefix preferred lifetime. This is the period
during which the IPv6 address prefix is considered a current
(undeprecated) value. After this period, the command is still valid
but should not be used in new communications. Set to a value
between 0 and 4294967295 seconds. The default is 604800
seconds (7 days).
Note that this period should be set to a value less than that set
for the prefix valid-lifetime.
Specify the IPv6 prefix off-link flag. The default is flag set.
Specify the IPv6 prefix no autoconfiguration flag. Setting this flag
indicates that the prefix is not to be used for autoconfiguration.
The default is flag set.
