OSPF Commands

ospf restart helper

Use this command to configure the helper behavior for the OSPF Graceful Restart feature.
Use the no parameter with this command to revert to the default.
Syntax
ospf restart helper
no ospf restart helper [max-grace-period]

The ospf restart helper command requires at least one parameter, but you may use more

than one in the same command (excluding parameter never).
The no ospf restart helper command will turn off the the OSPF restart helper, while the no
ospf restart helper max-grace-period command will reset the max-grace-period rather
than the helper policy itself.

Help only if received grace-period is less than specified value
Maximum grace period to accept, in seconds.
