Water chamber: Removal - Refitting

a Move the cooling radiator top hose clip (4) to one
side using the (Mot. 1448).
a Disconnect the cooling radiator top hose.
a Remove:
- the water chamber bolts (5) ,
- the water chamber,
- the water chamber seal.

REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATIONS OPERATION
a Use SURFACE CLEANER (see Vehicle: Parts
and consumables for the repair) (MR 415, 04B,
Consumables - Products) to clean and degrease the
water chamber joint face.
a Part always to be replaced:
- the water chamber seal.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit:

- the new water chamber seal,
- the water chamber,
- the water chamber bolts.
a Tighten the water chamber bolts.
a Connect the cooling radiator top hose.
a Fit the cooling radiator top hose clip using the (Mot.
1448).
a Connect the heater matrix outlet hose.
a Fit the heater matrix outlet hose clip using the (Mot.
1448).
a Connect the radiator bottom hose.
a Fit the radiator bottom hose clip using the (Mot.
1448).
a Connect the heater matrix inlet hose.
a Fit the heater matrix inlet hose clip using the (Mot.
1448).

a Refit:
