II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove:
- the starter supply terminal nut (6) ,
- the nut (7) on the starter solenoid.
a Disconnect the starter supply terminal.
a Move aside the starter wiring.
a Remove:
- the starter bolts (8) ,
- the starter.
STARTING - CHARGING

REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Check that the starter centring dowel is in place.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit:
- the starter,
- the starter bolts.
a Tighten the starter bolts.
a Reconnect the starter supply terminal.
a Refit:
- the nut on the starter solenoid,
- the starter supply nut.
a Tighten the nut on the starter solenoid.
a Torque tighten the starter supply terminal nut (8
N.m).
III - FINAL OPERATION.
a Connect:
- the oil pressure sensor connector,
- the oil level sensor connector,
- the rail pressure sensor connector.
a Clip the wiring duct.
a Refit the wiring duct nut.
a Tighten the wiring duct nut.
a Refit:
- the engine undertray,
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the air filter box (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Air filter
unit: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-13) .
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (MR 415, 80A, Battery).
