Electric coolant pump: Removal - Refitting
M9R, and 802 or 805 or 806 or 808 or 809 or 816 or 845 or 849
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
If replacing the electric coolant pump
a Remove:
- the clips (7) from the electric coolant pump on its
support,
- the electric coolant pump.
a Refit:
- a new electric coolant pump on its support,
- the new electric coolant pump clips on its mount-
ing.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Connect the electric coolant pump hoses.
a Refit the clips on the electric coolant pump hoses us-
ing tool (Mot. 1448).
a Remove tools (Ms. 583) from the electric coolant
pump hoses.
a Connect the electric coolant pump connector.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Fit the fuse box.
a Refit:
- the fuse box clip.
- the fuse box bolt,
COOLING
a Tighten the fuse box bolt.
a Refit the air filter unit (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Air fil-
ter unit: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-13) .
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Bleed the cooling system (see 19A, Cooling, Cool-
ing system: Draining - Refilling, page 19A-16) .
