a Remove the starter electrical connection nuts (5) .
a Detach the starter wiring.
a Move the starter wiring downwards.
a Remove the earth strap bolt (6) .
a Move the earth strap to one side.

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove the bolts (7) from the starter.
a Unpick the wiring harness.
a Remove the starter by passing it behind the lead
bracket then remove it from above.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATIONS OPERATION
a Part always to be replaced:
- intercooler air inlet pipe seal.
