Fuel tank: Removal - Refitting

a Disconnect the union (3) from the fuel vapour ab-
sorber pipes.

a Remove the silencer (see 19B, Exhaust, Silencer:
Removal - Refitting, page 19B-64) .
a Remove the expansion chamber (see 19B, Ex-
haust, Expansion chamber: Removal - Refitting,
page 19B-47) .
TANK
ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE

a Disconnect the connector (4) from the electronic
parking brake control unit.
a Remove the bolts (5) from the electronic parking
brake control unit mounting.
a Move aside the electronic parking brake control unit
mounting.
a Unpick the electronic parking brake control unit wir-
ing from the fuel tank.
a Remove:
- the rear left-hand underbody protector clip,
- the underbody protector nuts,
- the underbody protectors.
