High pressure pump: Removal - Refitting

a Fit a separator (6) under the high pressure pump
pinion (7) .
a Fit an arm (8) on the separator.

a Remove:
- the high pressure pump pinion,
- the separator and the arm.
a Refit the pinion to the new high pressure pump.
a Secure the high pressure pump pinion in a vice's
protective jaws.
a Torque tighten the high pressure pump pinion (90
N.m).
a Remove the intercooler air inlet pipe seal on the tur-
bocharger side using a .
